The China Europe Water Platform (CEWP) Business Program invites you to take part in a webinar series focusing on urban water.

The Webinars will first of all present a number of current challenges and introduce a range of adequate solutions. European Companies are invited to give presentations, offering their suggestions for solutions and how to create a well-functioning market in order to deliver environmental results living up to Government targets.

March 29th - China Water Market and Technology Outlook Report 2021

This webinar offered insights about the market outlook for coming years, technology perspectives and market barriers as well as suggestions for policy recommendations to improve market functioning.

The webinar attended discussed the CEWP Market and Technology Outlook 2021 report. At the webinar, the main findings of the Outlook report were presented. The Outlook report aims to assist European SME´s in understanding how the Chinese water sector market functions and how they best can operate in the market, as well as examines the “Market Functioning” and to which extent it provides optimal value to society. The Outlook also presents policy recommendations/advice to the main stakeholders in the Chinese water market. April 19th - Small Scale Water Supply and Wastewater Infrastructure

The webinar, attended by about 50 participants, discussed investment needs and market opportunities. State-of-the-Art solutions, enabling a circular economy approach with wastewater treatment plants becoming Resource Recovery Facilities and water supply facilities having low water leakage rates were presented. Options for adding a whole water cycle perspective and allowing for substantial water reuse, were presented and discussed.

Each webinar will have 1-2 Setting the Scene presentations outlining the water challenges related to the topic, followed by 4-6 short presentations by solution providers and a roundtable, which will discuss needs for further innovation, perspectives and barriers for state-of-the-art solutions, and, hopefully, create interest among participants to build business relations.
